Steel City Tool Works introduces another jointer in their line, the 8" Industrial Jointer (Model 40605).
The Industrial Jointer is designed with a parallelogram bed structure to permit the table to move in the same arc as the cutterhead, which acts as a more efficient chip breaker. This design reduces noise levels while maintaining uniform, close clearance between table lips and cutterhead for safer operation, regardless of cutting depth.
Made with the serious woodworker in mind, this Steel City Jointer features a large, extra-long 76 1/2" table providing a precision-machined surface to ensure accuracy as well as ample work support for oversized pieces. Steel City also integrates a built-in mobile base into the stand for excellent maneuverability and total portability without the added expense.
The conveniently located safety paddle type switch is another benefit of the Jointer. The switch is placed high above the table to allow the operator greater visibility and quick access.
The Steel City 8" Industrial Jointer comes equipped with: 2 HP TEFC induction motor, No. 40921 set of three HSS knives, cutterhead, cutterhead guard, tilting fence, pulleys, 4" dust port, push blocks, wrenches and user manual with parts breakdown. The jointer is also backed by the Steel City Tool Work's five-year warranty.
